Heigel Park is located directly adjacent to SunnySide Tower. The public park offers two tennis courts, basketball court, sledding hill, a soccer field, baseball field, restrooms, pavilion, and two playgrounds for various ages. Most exciting, just beyond the quite neighborhood is Catawba Island State Park and Lake Erie shoreline! Catawba Island State Park offers boat launch, fishing pier, stone beach, pavilion, picnicking, restrooms, parking for boat trailers, plus during winter months ice skating and ice fishing.
