SunnySide features almost two acres of yard space.  We have lovely garden seating areas, outdoor grills, swings, a fire pit, horse shoe pit, picnic tables, an herb garden, and much more.  There are numerous places to hike through the woods or down to the Lake Erie shore through our quiet neighborhood.  The 18 acres of woods also offer a great place to commune with nature and do some bird watching.  A recent guest spotted 22 bird species on their 30minute hike!

Feel free to relax in the owner's 7 person Hot Tub, tucked privately nearby.  Ever wonder if you could be a Polar Bear Club member?  Take a trial run in our hot tub!

Heigel Park is located directly adjacent to us.  This park features a baseball diamond, soccer fields, sled/climbing hill for the kids, two children's playgrounds, a large covered pavilion with restrooms, a full basketball court, and two beautiful painted clay tennis courts.  Free use of this private & secluded park, is just one more thing that makes SunnySide the perfect place for families to relax and have a good time exploring Catawba.  You couldn't ask for a better place to have a large family reunion!  Be sure to visit our “Whole House Rental” page for details to make your next family reunion one to really remember!
