Business Opportunity at SunnySide Tower
Have you always wanted to own and operate a bed and breakfast? This was my dream and for over 12 years I have lived that dream. As a full-time professional pilot, SunnySide has always been a hobby for me. It can be your hobby, your retirement job to help make ends meet, or a full-time business. In any case, Diana and I now are ready to move to the next phase of our lives and would like to find someone to take over for us.
Own and Operate?
The most desirable option is the direct sale of the Inn. As difficult as it would be to sell her, I’m sure there is someone out there who would love her as much as we do. Because we have such a loyal following, our first choice would be to have SunnySide remain as she is, catering to the upscale romantic couple or the large family gathering. However, she could become three condos/apartments or a wonderful, large vacation home for some family.
A Partnership?
In today’s financial climate, all options are on the table and owners should be amenable to different options. Although not our first choice, Diana and I would consider a partnership of sorts if the terms were ideal.

First, SunnySide has a lot to offer. The Inn is one of the largest on Ohio’s North Coast with loads of amenities. According to experts from The Ohio State University, it takes at least seven rooms to make a profit…SunnySide offers up to 12 bedrooms and 81/2 bathrooms. From the 3,000 sq. ft. boat storage facility/garage/work shop, to the tennis courts next door, there is room for growth and the fulfillment of your own ideas and your personal touches.

We are situated at the very heart of Vacationland’s many activities. Why do people come to a specific B&B? Normally, it is not the home itself that is the draw…no matter how nice it is. They come to spend time in an area that offers a lot to do…to fulfill their sense of adventure, so to speak. We are only ½ mile from the Miller Ferry to Put-In-Bay and the Catawba Island State Park. We are only three miles from the Mon Ami Winery. These are some of the most sought after destinations in Ohio. Add to this the Marblehead Lighthouse, Cedar Point Amusement Park, Kalahari Water Park, walleye fishing, swimming, water skiing, and much, much more.
